Description

The scientific library of the Mediterranean Natural History Museum is an important documentary center with a database for the Mediterranean geographical area.

For this important book heritage, which also includes a historical nucleus of high documentary value, cataloging and complete inclusion in the Library Network System of the Province of Livorno is underway.

The Library is equipped with a reading room that can accommodate 20 users and an Historical Room, which is the place of conservation of the ancient book nucleus and which also may be used as a meeting room.
