Invertebrate room

The pathway is divided into two exhibition areas: the first is dedicated to marine invertebrates, and the second to terrestrial arthropods, particularly insects.The specimens are placed in a natural setting, in mini dioramas that highlight certain characteristics such as camouflage, the ability to build nests, and the capacity to adapt to specific environments.It is possible to have a direct visual comparison between the displayed individuals and some enlarged models to appreciate the details: explanatory-educational panels in the background of each showcase complete the exhibition by providing simple information and curiosities.The room is equipped with a touch screen that allows further exploration of these animals with additional images, videos, and more specific information.The sector has been completely renewed; in the video, it is possible to see the old exhibition inaugurated in 2006.
